Day 9 - A snack


I just love this stuff! It is a great alternative to peanut butter for those who can't have peanuts or just want to change it up a bit. It comes in a couple of different varieties, smooth being my favorite. But I like to get the kind with whole flax seeds in it for the added benefits of the Omega-3 fatty acids. If you haven't read up on Omega-3's you should! They are a really essential part of the diet that the brain literally cannot function without. So many of our modern American health problems have been linked to omega-3 deficiencies that it is ridiculous. I actually didn't even realize that I was getting something with omega-3 in it, I just loved the snack. I felt amazing while eating this every day but didn't realize that the butter could have anything to do with it until I ran out and lost all that extra energy and brain power I was feeling. So here I am with a fresh new jar!  I eat it on gluten free bread with honey as a sandwich or on rice crackers. You could basically substitute this any way that you would normally eat peanut butter.
